Inspired by a developed Tumar Script, this Caligraphy is painted in shell gold on hand made paper which is layered with pure pigments and burnished for a smooth, textured surface. The gold Calligraphy is veiled in an ivory white outline.

Inspired by a stylized bird motif from the 10th century which was found on Persian plates. The peacock's tail forms a double scroll, which is embellished with stylized Rumis. Hand painted using the Iznik colour scheme of Prussian blues and reds.

The stylized bird motif is formed by Rumis. The eye, the head, the wing, the feet as well as the negative spaces inbetween also form Rumi shapes. Painted in blue underglaze, speckled with white "frit" creating a shimmering effect.

The overglaze is applied first and then the underglaze is painted on top. This creates an accentuated, embossed, and raised surface. This lends to the plate a three dimensional and textural design which can be read by hand. Only black underglaze colour is used in the embellishment.

The Bismillah, painted on handmade paper using natural pigments, is one of Nausheen's premier classic works. Painted as part of a pair of Bismillah Paintings, one piece of the pair was auctioned for charity at the Sudan Water Relief Auction in London in 2004.

The inscription reads "In the Name of Allah, the Kindest and most Merciful." The Calligraphy is inspired by the stylized Tughra of Suleman the magnificent.

The stylized bird motif was found on Persian Plates from 10th and 11th centuries.

The tile is painted in brown and red underglazes in several layers followed by the post firing application of overglazes. The tile is then fired once again to seal the surface after which the lustre is applied and the tile is then refired at a temperature of 550 to 700 degrees celsius. The bird motif is illuminated using antique gold lustre on a beige ceramic tile.

The tile is painted in brown and red underglazes in several layers followed by the post firing application of overglazes. The tile is then fired once again to seal the surface after which the lustre is applied and the tile is then refired at a temperature of 550 to 700 degrees celsius. The application of the malachite green lustre results in various shades and intensities of the colour on an ivory white ceramic tile.

The stylized bird motif was found on Persian Plates from 10th and 11th centuries.

This is a variation inspired by the Lustre Peacock. The bird motif has an ornate fantail in brown and red underglazes which is adorned in green and blue lustres. The peacock motif is absorbed into the surrounding indigo lustre.

The tile is painted in brown and red underglazes in several layers followed by the post firing application of overglazes. The tile is then fired once again to seal the surface after which the lustre is applied and the tile is then refired at a temperature of 550 to 700 degrees celsius.
