Persian Peacock
The inner rim is a narrow porus border with the bird motif etched centrally into the clay to give an almost carved surface. Metallic bronze slip glaze gives the motif a rippled velvet textural effect in a metallic shade. The surface as has embossed effect. The peacock is in graceful flight.
